Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. This curvature may or may not manifest as pain and other symptoms. It is often initially found in early adolescence. Dr. Belitsky is board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis, and was the 37th doctor in the United States to achieve this certification by the International Scoliosis Research Center.

The technology and experience that Dr. Belitsky incorporates allows a proper diagnosis of the cause of the scoliosis as well as a comprehensive treatment plan designed to either correct, slow the progression of, or maintain the disorder (see figure below). Treatment may consist of chiropractic adjustments (manipulation) to restore the bio-mechanical dysfunction of the spine, various rehabilitation exercises, and traction.
